Aleksandr Paskhaver,
CED President

Economist. After graduating from the Kyiv Institute of National Economy went for post-graduate studies in the USSR Academy of Sciences' Institute of Economy (Moscow). Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine, Honoured Economist of Ukraine, Adviser to President of Ukraine.

While a leading research fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy in 1971 though 1992, dealt with researches of economic efficiency, privatisation and demonopolisation issues. In 1992-1994 was a Leading Expert of the Centre of Market Reforms, consultant at Putnam, Hayes and Bartlett and Kiev-Reforma Foundation. An active participant of the process of market reforms implementation in Ukraine's economy in his own right, A. Paskhaver in 1995 became one of the initiators of the creation of the Centre for Economic Development and now is its continuous President and the Chair of the Editorial Board of the Monitoring of the Economy of Ukraine Analytical Information Bulletin. At various periods he was also the Advisor to the President, Prime Minister, deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and to the Chair of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

Lidia Verkhovodova,
CED Vice President

Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical Institute graduate, Candidate of Economic Sciences. The area of professional interests covers property reform, administrative reform, civic society development, market-oriented transformation of economic sectors and individual businesses. L. Verkhovodova is a co-author of the Law of Ukraine on Privatisation of Small Enterprises (Small Privatisation), of the State Privatisation Programme, and the leader of numerous projects on enterprise privatisation and restructuring. L. Verkhovodova has more than 50 works on economic reform issues. In 1973 through 1993, while a Leading Research Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy, she dealt with issues of non-production sector economy and researched development of rental and privatisation relations. Director of the Centre for Market Reforms Privatisation Department and President of Lavesta Consulting Firm in 1993 to 1994, she was also a co-founder and Vice President of the Centre for Economic Development since 1995. Now L. Verkhovodova is the President of the Kyiv Consulting Group. Performed as a consultant of the central governmental institutions in various projects under the Tacis Programme.

Aleksandr Koshyk,
CED Vice President

Economist, graduate of the Kyiv Institute of National Economy, post-graduate of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy. Candidate of Economic Sciences with more than 50 articles on burning issues of market reforms in Ukraine. The area of scientific research interests covers issues of privatisation, entrepreneurship development, and macroeconomic analysis. Has some substantial experience of editorial activities: a member of the Editorial Board of the Privatisation in Ukraine US-Ukrainian Bulletin and the Market Time Bulletin in 1992 to 1995, Editor-in-Chief of the Monitoring of the Economy of Ukraine Information-analytical Bulletin since 1995. He has also been a senior research fellow in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy since 1994. In 1995 he was one of co-founders of the Centre for Economic Development. In various time he was an advisor and consultant to the Chair of the State Property Funds and the Administration of the President of Ukraine.

Taisia Voronkova,
Expert

Graduate of the Kyiv Institute of National Economy and a post-graduate student of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy. Candidate of Economic Sciences, author of more than 60 articles. Co-author of the Law of Ukraine on State Housing Fund Privatisation. Professional interests extend to property ownership reform, sectoral analysis, and market transformation of businesses. Leader and consultant of the project on enterprise privatisation and restructuring and of business staff adaptation to new market conditions training programmes. In 1970 through 1994, a Senior Research Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy, in 1994 to 1995&mdashan Expert in Privatisation of the Centre for Market Reforms, consultant to Lavesta Firm and Frishberg & Partners Law Offices. One of co-founders of the Centre for Economic Development and a participant of all of its important projects. At present in charge of personnel at a chair in the Institute of Investment Management.

Liubov Rudenko,
Expert

Graduated from the Kyiv Institute of National Economy, Candidate of Economic Sciences having more than 50 articles on financial and accounting issues. Specialist in financial analysis, taxation, accounting and financial reporting, audits. In 1976 through 1980 was a senior research fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy. In 1980-1993 she was an Associate Professor of the Institute of Vocational Training of CEOs of the State Committee for Materiel Provision and the Ukrainian Institute of Food Technologies. Was a Consultant of PriceWaterhouse Company in a number of international technical assistance projects in 1995-2000. In 1995 was one of co-founders of the Centre for Economic Development. Has been active in Centre's research projects on financing and in the work with selected companies.

Anatoliy Orlovskiy,
Team Leader

Graduate from T. Shevchenko Kyiv State University and of the Kyiv Commercial University of Management. The scope of professional interests includes issues of strategic planning, management of finances, investments, and corporate governance. In 1996 through 2001 worked as a leading specialist, then the Chair of Administration in Ukraina and Ukrsotsbank banks. CED's Strategic Management and Planning Team Leader since 2002.

Tatiana Reshetova,
Expert

Graduate and post-graduate of the Kyiv Institute of National Economy. Candidate of Economic Sciences with more than 50 articles on issues of Ukrainian economy development. Specialist in financing, production efficiency assessment, market transformation of enterprises and market valuation of assets. Was a Senior Research Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's Institute of Economy in 1968-2000. Has been cooperating with the Centre for Economic Development as a sectoral analysis expert since 2001.

Yekaterina Ageeva, Expert

Graduated from T. Shevchenko Kyiv State University. Underwent training under Tacis Programmes on Financial Management and Managing Changes in Public Administration Reform in 1998. Traineeship under the Freedom House (USAID) Programme for Think Tank Managers in Washington, USA (1999). Ten years of experience in consulting and management in international and Ukrainian projects on enterprise restructuring and privatisation, administrative reform and sectoral analysis. In 1974 through 1993 Ye. Ageeva worked as a Testing Engineer at Arsenal Plant in Kyiv, and in 1993 through 1994 she was the Project Manager in Lavesta Firm. From 1994 till 1996 she was the Commercial Director of Advance-Ukraine Company. Since 1996 she is Kyiv Consulting Group Director and Project Consultant of the Centre for Economic Development.

Natalia Gnidiuk,
Expert

Graduated from the National Technical University in 1997. Graduate in European Studies from the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw (Poland), and fellow applicant of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine's V. Koretsky Institute of State and Law. The area of professional interests extends to issues of EU integration, public administration and investments. Was an Expert in administrative reform and integration processes for the Secretariat of the Interdepartmental Council for Administrative Reform to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (1997-2000), and Project Coordinator for Bannock Consulting Ltd (2000-2002). Since 2002, an Expert in the Centre for Economic Development and Consultant to the Ministry for Economy and European Integration of Ukraine.

Viktor Zhabrovets,
Expert

Kyiv Institute of National Economy graduate. In 1972 through 1991 chaired a unit of the Main Scientific Research Information and Computing Centre of the State Planning Committee of the UkrSSR. Worked as Administration Manager in the National Bank of Ukraine and UkrSotsBank JSCB (1992-2002). Since 2002, Expert in the Centre for Economic Development on issues of restructuring of complex multilevel organization management года, corporate reorganization and change management within the framework of development strategies.

Yuriy Antoniuk,
Expert

Graduate of the Kyiv National Economic University; held postgraduate studies in the field of strategic management in that institute. The scope of professional interests includes strategic management, corporate management, and investments. Senior Inspector in the State Commission for Securities and the Securities Market (1999 through 2001). Permanent Expert of the Centre for Economic Development (since 2002); actively participates in the researches of economic sector market transformations.

Dmytro Zgortyuk, Expert

Graduate from the Kyiv Investment Management Institute. The scope of professional interests includes investment management and financial analysis. Expert of the Center for Economic Development (since January 2006), participates in the researches of economic processes, privatization survey and state property management.
